Summary: This document shows the new settings to use with your Piezography BW ICC settings, with Photoshop CS2.
Photoshop CS2 has a few different user interfaces than earlier Photoshop versions. This document describes are settings unique to Photoshop CS2. When you set Photoshop to these settings, you will obtain identical results to those you achieved with older Photoshop versions.
If you have also recently upgraded to Mac OS X, from an older version of Mac OS, make sure you’re using a genuine Epson driver. Check this link for more information on printer drivers for OSX.
The three parts of Photoshop CS2 are different from older versions are the following:
Print with preview window settings,
Proof setup window settings, and
Assign profile window settings.
Print with preview window. The print with preview window in CS2 is the most different component of CS2, as far as Piezography BW ICC profiles are concerned. Below are two screen captures. The first one shows the settings needed for CS2, and the second one shows the settings needed for CS and older versions of Photoshop.
Proof setup window. The name of the proof setup window is now called “customize proof condition.” The settings are equivalent for CS2 and older versions, although “preserve color numbers” is now called “preserve color numbers.”
Assign Profile window has moved in Photoshop CS2, as shown below.
